Ministries

At Apostolic Praise Tabernacle we have a hand full of ministries where you can get plugged in and connected!

MEN
This Godly group of men have a mindset to enlarge God’s church, both spiritually and physically, through any possible means. Be a part of the weekly and monthly fellowship activities offered.

LADIES
The Vessels of Honor are united in one mind and one accord to expand the Kingdom of God in Fort. Myers. Join A.P.T.’s ladies on Wednesdays at 10:30a for prayer and on the first Tuesday of every month at 6:30p for growth and fellowship.

YOUTH
Weekly activities give today’s youth a refuge in an unsure society. Youth class for students 12-18 is held every Sunday at 10a. Encourage your teenager to take part in this dynamic youth group.

HYPHEN
Young adults aged 18-30 are in that transition, “hyphen” phase where they are trying to find their place in the world and in the Kingdom of God. Hyphens get together to fellowship, eat, and share life experiences with the Word of God. Come and get connected!

CHILDREN
We believe that children are an asset and strives to train and equip them to carry the Gospel to the next generation. Our teachers and workers are trained and committed to love and teach every child that comes through our doors.

OASIS
Older Apostolic Seniors In Service. Not only does the senior support each other, but they are also a source of strength and encouragement for the younger generation. Experience this wonderful senior community by partaking in their regularly held fellowship opportunities.

OUTREACH
Taking the Gospel and Love of God into the community is what we are called to do. The outreach team is always striving to touch a life. Whether serving meals to the hungry or helping people in the community with their needs, there always an opportunity to reach out and help somebody!

MUSIC
Psalm 150:6 says “Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.” It is our purpose to help generate an atmosphere of praise and worship that ushers in the presence of God.

What We Believe

What We Believe

Apostolic Praise Tabernacle is a Pentecostal church with spirit-filled believers. We're Bible-based in that we seek to base all of our beliefs and our lifestyle on explicit passages of the Bible or on biblical principles. Based on Scripture, we believe the following. . .

THE BIBLE
The Bible is the infallible Word of God and the authority for salvation and Christian living (2 Timothy 3:15-17).

GOD
There is one God, who has revealed Himself as our Father, in His Son Jesus Christ, and as the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is God manifested in flesh. He is both God and man (Deuteronomy 6:4; Ephesians 4:4-6; Colossians 2:9; 1 Timothy 3:16).

SIN AND SALVATION
Everyone has sinned and needs salvation. Salvation comes by grace through faith based on the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Our basic and fundamental doctrine shall be the Bible standard of full salvation, which is repentance, baptism in water by immersion in the name of Jesus for the remission of sins, and the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the initial sign of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. (Romans 3:23-25; 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9; John 3:3-5; Acts 2:38; I Peter 3:20,21; Mark 16:16; Titus 3:5)

THE GOSPEL
The saving gospel is the good news that Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose again. We obey the gospel by repentance (death to sin), water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ (burial), and receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit (resurrection). ( I Corinthians 15:1-4; Acts 2:4, 37-39; Romans 6:3-4)

CHRISTIAN LIVING
As Christians we are to love God and others. We should live a holy life inwardly and outwardly, and worship God joyfully. The supernatural gifts of the Spirit, including healing, are for the church today.(Mark 12:28-31; II Corinthians 7:1; Hebrews 12:14; I Corinthians 12:8-10)

THE FUTURE
Jesus Christ is coming again to catch away His church. In the end will be the final resurrection and the final judgment. The righteous will inherit eternal life, and the unrighteous eternal death. (I Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 20:11-15.)
